Circuit Diagram ✏️📊👻

In a circuit diagram instead of drawing the exact thing we use symbols. We use symbols because it is easier to represent what we are trying to show. When using symbols it is easier because it takes less time to draw what we want to show. What is bad of using symbols is that if someone who is looking at it doesn't know what each symbol means then s/he will not know what is goin on in the diagram.

But in conclusion if you want to do a circuit diagram it is easier to use symbols and to help others u can make a key where you have the symbols drawn and what each represent. 🤓✏️

Pretzel Circuit 😋📊

Today we made a Pretzel Circuit. We had students walking around a tape line. We had two students as light bulbs and one as a battery.

The "battery" person gave the other students 2 pretzels which represented the energy given to the electrons. First we made a series circuit. In this circuit we had to pass all through one way which means that out of 2 volts we had to leave one at each light bulb. This is how a series circuit works.
Then we did a parallel circuit. The people used as the battery and the light bulbs stayed the same. The only difference in this circuit is that in a parallel circuit the electrons choose which path they want to go. Each lightbulb has its own connection to the battery. Which means that each of us had to put the bolts we got from the battery to the light bulb.

No Wires World 👻

The name of my world is Electric Power!!! One cool thing I can do with no wire electricity is that I can charge my phone with just a little panel that I put under the phone: the phone will charge automatically. Amazing right! One crazy thing that can happen with this electricity flowing everywhere is that people are getting shocked with some objects they touch. Will it's dangerous cuz it does sting.

Electricity So Far 🤓

     1) Electricity is... a form of energy that is the result of a current
     2) So Far I learned... how to use a generator and how it lights up things with me cranking the                       generator.
     3) Electricity is... fun because... we learn how it works and we get to use things that we wouldn't                   use in any other class i.e, generators, light bulbs, and wires.
     4) I'm still confused about...  how the electricity flows through the generator and then back to the                 circuit.

Electric Vocab

What is electricity? Well electricity is an energy that is the result of a current.A current is a flow of electric charges. There are objects that let these charges flow, these objects are called conductors. The objects that don't let the charges flow are called insulators. The energy that flows into the objects are atoms. Atoms are the smallest particle of an element. An example of something that the electric charges go through is a circuit. A circuit is a path along which electrical charges are carried. Now you know what electricity is and how it can flow through things.

Van de graff 📝🙌🏼

We played with an object  called  a Van De Graff. When you turn it on it starts to make a weird noise and as you get things close to it and makes electric shocks. Well not with every object just some. This happens because there are objects that let atoms flow freely(insulators)and there are other objects that don't let atoms flow freely (conductors).
I would like to try mousse on a Van De Graff. I'm curious of what would happen if you put a hair product near electricity. I think that the mousse will like "melt".
